Takeru Chuganji / ganzy

Software Engineer

A graduate of Kyushu University's School of Design, he interned at CyberAgent, FICC, and Sumally before joining Sumally full-time in 2014. There, he helped bring development of the Sumally app in-house and launch the Sumally Pocket iOS app. He joined Mercari in 2016, working primarily on its US business, and received an internal MVP award that year. He moved to California in 2017 to lead development for Mercari US and became its first Staff Software Engineer in 2020. He returned to Japan in 2022 and began working independently. Today, his work spans design engineering and solving technical challenges in product development.
